What do you make of the visions these days?

[She'll sit next to him after a moment, though not so close as to make him feel pressured]

I'm not sure. They feel more realistic when I watch them now, but it's still so different from our lives here. What about you?

[They can do both. He doesn't really know what to put down for himself anyway, right now. It isn't as though he has much that is valuable. What he has is his voice, his creativity, his feelings... but those are things he can't imagine giving up.

What else is there...? He can't just fail Elegy.]

I think that they're our lives.

Or at least, a past one. But I think those memories really belong to us.

It does seem to be the case, I've heard different theories on if they're a past live, an alternate universe, or something else.

What do you lean toward?

Some sort of combination? It's definitely not this universe, but it feels so realistic.

How many people from on the boat have wound up in your visions?

Just my brother, I think.

—oh wait, I saw someone at Dixie’s performance who might have been in one of my brother’s visions.

It was a little busy, so I didn't have the chance to talk to him more.

What about you? You had said Moray was in your visions, but did someone else show up?

My sis- uh... Star [Since they aren't actually blood related. He can't remember if he ever told her about Star, yet.] And Moray. They've both fallen into those sleep comas here on the ship, though.

And Gossamer. Apparently, some people knew her before her arrival on the boat. I know her from Anakt, though.

--oh, I didn't realize Moray had also fallen asleep. I'm sorry to hear that. What family is Gossamer from?

Yeah... some time ago shortly after getting back on the boat.

[He looks... pretty complicated about that actually.]

. . . 'Least if they're asleep, they're not stuck inside shitty performances.

[It doesn't make it easier, though.]

Gossamer's on Sunsign. She's... I dunno. Someone pretty important from my memories. It was a real shock to see her here.

...even though that's true, it doesn't mean you can't miss them or worry about them.

I assume she doesn't recognize you right now, which probably makes it more difficult.

Yeah. She doesn't at all.

. . . To be honest, it would probably be less painful for her not to remember that... life. Whatever it is.

[He runs a hand through his hair, a little stressed.]

But it's not realistic to prevent her from it, either. So the situation sucks.

And if she's new, talking to her about it will just freak her out.

[Scoots over a little on the seat and gives him a hug, though she keeps it light enough he can break out if he wants]

I'm sorry the boat continues to find new ways to suck.

[Blushes a little because he's tsun like that. He accepts the hug, though. Especially since it's from Elegy.]

A-Anyway! I hope things have been managing better for you! Sorry, I haven't been around a lot lately. I've just been dealing with some [major depression] shit.

My problems aren't gonna help us right now, though. We gotta think up what to give up.

Hymn and I have been all right--hopefully things improve for you soon.

But for the performance, did you want to aim for low or high points?

We're less likely to eat shit the higher we go, I think. But I don't even know what to give up. Or that I would want to.

Well, it sounds like we get them back so something you won't miss for a day or two?

[untilldeath]

The only thing I think I have even worth anything is probably my voice. Or creativity?

[His ability to compose or draw or something.]

If for some reason we really didn't get it back, though, I don't know what I would do.

Well, an object with emotional significance would probably count. And it doesn't seem like it has to be something we have with us right now.
